From Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, 2020, 84 Shaolin Kungfu practitioners of the junior stage successfully completed examination and antique by systematically theoretical and technical training. 82 Kungfu practitioners accepted the corresponding certificate from abbot Shi Yongxin, promoted joyfully in front of the Abbot Hall on the morning of Nov. 4.

In the four-day training, master Yanpei and master Yange from Shaolin Temple, Doc. Hong Hao and Doc. Tian Wenbo from Henan University as theory instructors taught the history, culture, social value, precepts for Shaolin disciples of Shaolin Kungfu and so on; Shaolin Kungfu monk corps’ Kungfu instructors including Yanti, Yankai, Yanxuan, Yanye, Yanchen and Yanji as practice teachers taught moves, methods of force development, breathing, sound production and so on.

During the training period, abbot Yongxin visited students and communicated joyfully with everyone, knew about their study situation, reminded students that they would be the mainstay of promoting Shaolin Kungfu, should not only pay attention to individual learning, but also ask teachers for teaching experience and benefit more people with wisdom contained in Shaolin Kungfu.

Meantime abbot Yongxin also drilled into the Duanpin committee providing good service, paying attention to course teaching while doing logistic work well and delivering living materials to students.

With joint efforts of all instructors or coaches and students, there were totally 79 students promoted into the sixth stage at last by strict examination and critique meanwhile 1 student was promoted into the fifth stage and 2 students were promoted into the fourth stage.

At the promotion ceremony, abbot Yongxin claimed that Shaolin Temple would specially set the reception center of Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin System to better service people, also inviting everyone could often be back to Shaolin Temple.

On the same day, also renunciation day of Bodhisattva, 19 students of Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system devoutly worshiped abbot Yongxin to ask for conferred the Three Refuges. Then abbot Yongxin consented, mounted the platform to preach dharma and give a dharma teaching to students.
