At 6 o’ clock on the night, the Dingguo Temple solemnly hosted the Damengshan food offering dharma assembly. Objects offered food were beings of the nether world. It is mentioned in Buddhism scriptures that Earth Store Bodhisattva had ever saved his mother time and time again and also vowed that he would deliver all beings from sufferings, especially beings of the nether world.
