On the afternoon of Oct. 4, 2020, master Shi Yongxin, vice president of the Buddhist Association of China, president of the Buddhist Association of Henan Province and abbot of Shaolin Temple, visited the Wangu Temple in Yongji city, Shanxi province, receiving a warm welcome from master Yanzuo and the whole monks accompanied by deputy mayor Wang Wenxuan and other officials.

Master Yanzuo introduced Wangu Temple’s historical and cultural inheritance to master Shi Yongxin. After the explanation of master Yanzuo and officials of the local government, master Yongxin gave a dharma teaching. He first expressed gratitude to the local government for their support of Wangu Temple, and sighed the good conduct of local believers, hoping that master Yanzuo could guide temple’s monks to strengthen the construction of morality and style, make Wangu Temple become a local pure land and service local believers and the construction of harmonious society better.
